Third party processing/data sharing
The collected data will not be shared with third parties, unless this is necessary for the provision of the service, for example for the delivery of your order by an external delivery service.

Storing your data
At Owniez Flip Flops, all measures have been taken to ensure that your data is safe. The information we collect regarding the use of the Owniez website is used for future events and developments. Owniez makes the same use of some external parties who, just like Owniez, are bound by very strict rules to protect your privacy.

The information collected after placing an order is kept for a minimum of 7 years. Email subscriptions to the newsletter are retained until you decide to subscribe to the email service, or Owniez decides to discontinue the email service. Information obtained through our customer service is kept for as long as necessary to provide you with service.

Online purchases
In order to process your order properly, Owniez collects your name, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery address and billing address (if different from the delivery address). Your e-mail address is used to send you an order confirmation and to keep in touch about the order (such as the progress of the delivery and the final satisfaction review). A final phone number will only be used to contact you when you go through details about your order. All of the above data is shared with our third-party delivery service. This information is treated highly destroyed and will only be used to deliver the order in good order. 

Online newsletter
We will first ask for your permission to receive the Owniez online newsletter. When you have registered for the newsletter, you give permission to receive newsletters from Owniez containing the latest news. If you no longer wish to receive this newsletter, you can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter. When you unsubscribe from the newsletter, the information will be kept for a maximum of 6 months.

Customer service
When you contact Owniez customer service, we will collect your name, e-mail address and any additional information you provide in order to best handle your question or comment.

Cookies
When you visit the Owniez website, unique cookies are used to recognize your browser. By using these cookies, our system can now recognize you and provide you with even better and relevant information. When you visit the website you will be given the option to accept or refuse these cookies.

Applicants
When you apply for a vacancy at Owniez, we will save your name, e-mail address, telephone number, CV, photo and letter of motivation. This information will be kept for a maximum of 4 weeks after the closing of the application procedure, unless agreed otherwise. If it has been agreed with the applicant that the data may be kept for longer, this will apply for a maximum period of 1 year.

Your privacy – view/change/delete personal data
According to the law “General data Protection Regulation (gdpr) you have the right to: request access to your personal data, have your personal data changed, have your personal data deleted, restrict the processing of your personal information, transfer your personal information to another party or to yourself, stop processing your personal information for future purposes.

Changes
This privacy statement may change from time to time due to changes in our service or due to changes in the law. Your right to privacy will never be compromised by these possible changes. When it concerns such influential changes, we will always inform you in advance.
